About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated QA Intern with a strong foundation in scripting languages and a keen interest in test automation. As part of the QA team at SteelEye, you will get hands-on experience working on automation tools, frameworks, and processes in a fast-paced fintech environment. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in software quality assurance with a focus on automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in writing and maintaining automated test scripts using JavaScript, TypeScript, or other scripting languages
• Support Regression testing by building automation scripts for test cases.
• Participate in developing test scenarios and maintaining automated test suites.
• Perform exploratory manual testing to identify edge cases and improve product understanding.
• Document and track bugs, and help with regression testing.
• Collaborate with QA engineers and developers to improve overall product quality.
• Stay updated with QA automation trends and tools.

What We’re Looking For:

• Good knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar scripting languages.
• Passion for software testing and automation.
• Understanding of QA fundamentals (manual and automated testing).
• Familiarity with tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Postman is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative team environment.
